Santa Costumes

As the season to be jolly looms large, it is time to start thinking about that Father Christmas costume that is needed for the school Christmas Fair, department store grotto, charity fundraiser, office party or family get together. There are so many occasions that call for Father Christmas to be represented, and if you are the person selected to play the part you want to do a convincing job. To begin creating that amiable personna you will need the pillar box red calf length coat and cape or thigh length jacket and trousers, with white fake fur trim around the cuffs, pocket tops and coat edges, set off with a wide black belt with large buckle. Unless you have already devoured the mince pies, you will need a belly stuffer to create that authentic chubby look. For the feet, a pair of Santa boots in black with fake fur trim, and for the hands a pair of pristine white gloves, are ideal. With a white Santa wig and beard and a red floppy Santa hat with white pom pom, you have almost achieved the look, but a nice finishing touch is a pair of stick on white bushy eyebrows and thin rimmed spectacles for the perfect disguise. To finish off Santa's look, accessorise with a hand bell to announce your arrival, and a red Santa sack, stuffed to the brim with presents. All you need now is an eager and excited audience and a bouncy attitude to make it a memorable event.
